ABOUT

The VP Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (VPCEI) was established in 2025 by Vietnam Partners LLC as a future-focused, independent platform to accelerate Vietnam’s human capital development and support its transformation into a global innovation and financial hub. VPCEI is built to empower a new generation of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and innovators through a self-sustaining model that combines world-class executive education, applied research, and early-stage venture support.

Its founding institution, Vietnam Partners LLC, was launched in New York in 2003 by Bradley Lalonde (former CEO of Citibank Vietnam) and James W. Lewis (former Managing Director at Morgan Stanley). Over two decades, Vietnam Partners has invested more than USD 150 million into 30+ private companies across Vietnam—including pioneering deals with SSI, FPT Software, Minh Phu Seafood, Vinh Hoan Corporation, Dam Phu My Packaging, Eximbank, Vinasun, and Traphaco. This deep track record in strategic investment, cross-border finance, and ecosystem building laid the groundwork for VPCEI.

In partnership with leading global institutions such as the University of Michigan, Columbia University, and Fulbright University Vietnam, VPCEI delivers hybrid Mini-MBA programs, innovation and ESG labs, and supports startups through VPCEI Ventures. As Vietnam advances its ambition to become an International Financial Center (IFC), VPCEI serves as a cornerstone in this journey—developing the leadership, mindset, and capabilities needed to compete in the global digital economy.
